MISSION
Provide a strategic focus, cohesive voice, and excellent services so that people with disabilities can participate at all life stages as equal citizens in society
STRATEGY 1: Strategic Focus
Goal SF2: Utilise members expertise, competencies, resources & capabilities to work on issues of strategic, operational and professional development interest and to input into national policy development
Goal SF3: facilitate co-operative activity, collaboration, joint ventures and partnerships among members and with other stakeholders where requested/appropriate
STRATEGY 2: Cohesive Voice
Goal cv1: Create a cohesive voice within member organisations and promote a cohesive voice for the disability sector in ireland which is actively engaged in meaningful consultation
Goal 2: Establish a shared understanding and collective approach on issues of common interest and ensure that the nfpba is effectively represented and reflected in policy on the sector across the health system and across all government departments and state bodies with whom member organisations do business

goal ES1: Foster an ethos of continuous improvement and best practice by supporting and promoting quality, research, innovation and professional development
goal ES2: protect the continued availability of services by negotiating for adequate funding and sufficient staffing to meet idenified client need, promoting value for money to all stakeholders and maximising the use of available resources
